As-Built & Scan-to-BIM for Medical Infrastructure
Developed a high-precision As-Built information model for a medical bunker rehabilitation. The project required exact documentation of existing conditions to facilitate the installation of specialized medical equipment.
This project showcases advanced Reality Capture techniques and the management of complex MEP systems in a critical healthcare environment.
Challenge: Lack of updated blueprints and strict tolerance requirements for medical installations.
Solution: Executed a Scan-to-BIM workflow using LiDAR technology (iPad Pro) to digitize the physical environment. Modeled complex MEP systems including Medical Gases, CCTV, and Voice/Data networks. Created Custom Parametric Revit Families for specific medical equipment not available in commercial libraries. Authored and managed the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) to standardize deliverables.
